(360ml) warm water (40°C / 104°F) with 1 teaspoon (4g) sugar and 2
teaspoons (7g) instant yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it
becomes frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine
3 cups (360g) of flour and 1 teaspoon (5g) of salt. Pour the yeast
mixture into the flour mixture and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap
or a damp towel and let it sit at room temperature for 2-3 hours, until
the dough has doubled in volume.
- Shape the dough:
- Generously flour a clean work
surface and your hands. Turn the dough out onto the floured surface and
gently shape it into a ball.
- Transfer the dough to a piece of
